RFID and industrial IoT integration

Custom RFID middleware, built for your process and your system.

Full RFID Middleware is the software that connects RFID readers and antennas to your company's ERP, WMS, MES or proprietary system. We don't sell a boxed package: we build the middleware around each client's needs, so every read becomes an event in your process, with no data lost when the network goes down.

  • Built around your process
  • Read tests on your material before you buy at scale
  • Keeps reading when the internet goes down

From the reader to your system

  1. Tag and reader

Fixed readers, portals, antennas and RFID handhelds

  2. Full RFID Middleware

Filters reads, applies your rules and buffers them if the network drops

  3. Your system

ERP, WMS, MES or proprietary system

Sample event sent

"Lot 123 left through dock door 2, matched against the order"

Why middleware

The reader reads. The value is in what happens next.

An RFID reader produces thousands of reads per minute, full of duplicates and stray tags picked up by mistake. Without a software layer in between, that volume never becomes inventory, shipping or production records in your system. That layer is the middleware, and every company needs a different one. That is why we build yours from scratch, around your process and the system that will receive the data.

What the middleware does

From raw reads to business events in your system

Reader connectivity

Setup of fixed readers, portals, antennas and handhelds, receiving reads over MQTT, HTTP, REST or LLRP, including the IoT Connector on Zebra FX9600, FX7500 and ATR7000 readers.

Read filtering and direction

Removes duplicate and cross-antenna reads, detects direction (in or out) and groups reads by dock door, lot, yard zone or production order.

Your business rules

Checks each load against the order, blocks wrong shipments, updates inventory and triggers stack lights, sirens or operator screens.

Integration with your system

Sends ready-to-use events to your ERP, WMS, MES or proprietary system via API, database, file or message queue, without replacing the software you already run.

Offline operation

The gateway runs on site and stores reads locally when the network or the server goes down, then resends everything once the connection is back, without losing a single record.

Monitoring and security

Health dashboard for readers and antennas, alerts when a read point stops reading, access control, audit logs and remote updates.

Use cases

For plants, yards and distribution centers

Meatpacking, dairy, agribusiness, precast concrete, manufacturing and logistics. Each middleware is designed around the client's process and works with fixed readers, dock portals and handheld readers.

  • Shipments verified at the dock portal, item by item against the order
  • Yard and warehouse inventory in minutes, with no manual counting
  • Lot traceability from receiving to shipping
  • Tracking of assets, tools and returnable packaging
  • Raw material receiving with origin and volume checks
  • Production tracking as items pass along the line
How we work

We test before we promise

RFID performance depends on the material, the environment and where the tag sits. That is why projects move forward in stages, with measured results at each one.

  1. 1

    Assessment

We map the process, the read points and the system that will receive the data: available APIs, database, rules and who uses the information.

  2. 2

    Read test on real material

Before promising read range, we test tags, antennas and readers on your product and in your environment. Metal, concrete, liquids and stacked items change everything.

  3. 3

    Single-point pilot

We deploy the middleware at one dock, line or area, connected to your system, and measure results with your team before scaling up.

  4. 4

    Rollout and operations

Expansion to the remaining read points, training and monthly support per gateway, with monitoring, updates and fixes.

Software and hardware in one project

Full RFID, a Zebra partner in the Full Code ecosystem, specifies and supplies readers, antennas, RFID printers, handhelds and tags with delivery anywhere in Brazil. The middleware is developed by Full Code Technology. One team owns the result.

RFID middleware FAQ

What companies usually ask before getting started.

What is RFID middleware?

It is the software that sits between the RFID readers and the company's system. It takes in thousands of raw reads, removes duplicates, applies your business rules and delivers only the business event to your ERP, WMS, MES or proprietary system, such as "lot 123 left through dock door 2".

Do you sell an off-the-shelf middleware?

No. We build the middleware to fit each client's needs, starting from the process, the read points and the system that will receive the data. We use a proven technical foundation, but the rules and the integration are built for your operation.

What is the difference between RFID middleware and an edge gateway?

An edge gateway is the middleware running on site, close to the readers. That way operations continue when the internet or the server goes down, and reads are resent once the connection is restored.

Does it work with my ERP or proprietary system?

Yes. We integrate with the ERP, WMS, MES or proprietary system you already use through APIs, databases, files or message queues. There is no need to replace your system.

Do I need to replace my readers?

Not always. We work with Zebra readers and other brands that send data over MQTT, HTTP, REST or LLRP. If hardware is missing, Full RFID, a company in the Full Code ecosystem, specifies and supplies the equipment with delivery anywhere in Brazil.

Can RFID read on metal or concrete?

It can, with the right tag and placement, but read range varies a lot. That is why every project starts with a read test on the real material and environment, before any large-scale purchase.

What if the internet goes down?

The gateway keeps reading and applying the rules on site. Reads are stored locally and sent to your system once the connection is back, with no lost records.

Who develops the software?

Full Code Technology, the software engineering company of the Full Code ecosystem, specialized in complex systems, SaaS and industrial software, with security and data privacy built in.
